These are a species similar to Goombas, but they're treated different. Mario 318 sent a load of them to get their own slaved Goomba. If any Galoomba were to protect a Goomba, they would be killed. The Goombas picked a war with them and were sort of winning. But depending on the size of one of them, they'd have either a high or low ground. Since the Goombas were winning, Mario 318 had to jump in. After the war, this whole species was killed.
