This level was used to trick Branch. Illuminati lies and says his lunch was left in there. At first when he went to enter the level, he had to walk down some stairs, but this place was full of traps. So he fell down the stairs. The place was also pretty dark, and Branch claimed it was claustrophobic. Branch didn't make it far in the journey, after he was distracted by a Warp Pipe, this is where it ended for him.
